May the 4th
This video was made for MAY THE 4th, to celebrate it.
We wanted to do something that could be fun, and we could make it in 15 days just two artists.
I was in charge of the Storyboard, the direction, final composite and editing, a part from making some producer tasks hehe, like managing tasks times etc.
We try to be smart to achieve the best quality with the resources we got, and fighting all the time with the technical issues that usually come.
All the 3d animations were made by Isaac Castilla

It was a 15 production , 2 artists. I was in charge mostly of the direction and managment of the product. Also the visual style and final composite and edit.
Edit Comparison.
As we didn't have so much time the first rough edit with the story board was done super fast, also the layout pass. We wanted to start working on animation as soon as possible
For this project we created several layers that we used to creat all the backgrounds, even those which doesn´t look like.
This is a demo of how the layers are combined to get the final result in a shot.
